I had no idea where to post this so I decided to put it here. What are some good shops in the Metro are? I am looking for places where the owners/staff are fairly knowledgeable and courteous. Preferably, a place with a good selection of firearms and some quality accessories like holsters, slings, et cetera.

You're right. That whole thread had absolutely nothing to do with Jay. Unfortunately it's his manager since Jay has been mostly out for quite a while due to illness. As you state, Jay is a class act.

I'll echo this. I've had great luck with Jay over the years. Can't speak for his manager, but Jay's one of the good guys for sure in my opinion.

I've had good luck with Jay, too--even when he was doing transfers out of his house. Too bad his manager or whatever the heck this guy is is screwing up Jay's good name.

I miss the days of going to Jay's house...It was a way different environment back then for sure. If you can catch him in the shop though, he still keeps it running right. But, when the captain's away....

All you Denver metro guys are lucky... IMO all the Springs shops are crap.

Perhaps Jay should read that thread and consider a new "manager".

I sent that goof a pm after the customer hate thread closed... told him he was an idiot and among other things, that if I was his boss, he wouldn't have a job in the morning. I don't think he's posted since.

This is the first I've heard bad about jays shop. I hope that I never wronged any of you when I was there. While it was frustrating when some customers had no clue where their gun came from, I always treated everyone with respect. The new manager you're all talking about was my replacement.
