Don't know how much this helps:

Sure doesn't reference a manufacturer.
Thats great info I thought the w was for walther at first but it may be wylde and I guessed that the 223 was knowing the cal. s makes sense of stainless but the / K has me lost. Sent pics to walther and he said not his but also guessed that it was maybe a blank and that who ever finished it marked it as the 223 and the w to eaither be walther blank or wylde but was unsure about the rest as well. Even since there was nothing for the twist rate.

The thing that jumped out at me in the AR15.com post was this line:
" Additional letters are inspection marks. All barrels receive a basic inspection. and some receive an additional inspection, or even two or three...and will be marked accordingly if they have been further inspected."
So the /K and what looks like an 'E' to me could be some special inspections.
I saw that someone else on page 5 I think had the /K on theirs aswell. Oh well may just have to take it out and see how the groupings are. May be more reason to keep fighting wife to keep it.
IIt looks like someone stamped those markings in by hand, so it may be an aftermarket barrel that was made into an AR barrel. In that case, the manufacturer's mark would have been on the end of the barrel blank, and not there anymore. If that is the case, there is no way to tell who made it, you can get a good idea of the quality if you can get it bore scoped... other than that, no other bits of advise.
