We're not even close to the end of this crap.

It will not end until the next American revolution.

Office of the President has become the new King and Congress is the new noble class.

The idea and experiment of self governance has faded from the American consciousness.

These battles are lost during elections. I'm disappointed, but I'm not at all surprised. I hope people wake the hell up and change the political landscape soon.

...but I'm not holding my breath.

Not really legislation, that was a voter referendum. But they got their votes for office from putting this on the ballot, it's all tied together.

It's bad enough the Left has tried to steal the "progressive" label but do we have to aid and abet them? They aren't progressive, they are pushing for regressive Stalinism and Maoism and we should call them on their desire to return to the bad Marxist past (right down to rewriting history ala Obama's revised presidential histories). Theodore Roosevelt pushed for a "Square Deal" not a "New Deal" and thought FDR was a scalawag.

Do you read your IREA Watts & Volts? (http://www.intermountain-rea.com/userfiles/June2013-Watts-&-Volts.pdf)

http://coloradoreablog.wordpress.com/ (http://coloradoreablog.wordpress.com/2013/06/06/governor-hickenlooper-signs-sb-252-creates-advisory-committee/)

And we all get to subsidize the exemptions for urban consumers.

rural power rates are increasing?

not sure if you are serious?

but yes, they will be going up quite i bit I believe thanks to a law that requires a percentage of the energy for rural areas to come from renewable energy. blows my mind since those are the very people who are only reliant on themselves and already go off propane, solar, wind etc.... fuck you hickenlooper.
