So I've got a couple of ejection port dust covers that I want to get custom engraved.

I called around Colorado Springs yesterday to laser engravers to see who could do this for me. I found no one that knew what these dust covers even were but got the same types of responses:
"I could probably do it, but I can't guarantee how well it would turn out."
"I could probably do it, but it'll cost $25 - $30 to do each one."
Etc.

Anyone know a place that does this work? I've had a couple of others done before through another member and they were only about $10 a piece for the engraving (both sides of the cover).

Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi; you're my only hope!

I broke down and ordered mine from Spikes. This is a third party but cheap:

Bowers had some custom engraved for them a while back...
Shadow Op's in Longmont has a laser engraver, maybe hit them up!

Man there was some talks about this a while back and I remember it being pretty reasonable. I am searching now but there are a lot of threads that come up under "engraving"

Did you try T&T Engraving (http://www.ttengraving.com/) in the 'springs? They have an FFL and do engraving for NFA firearms (they engraved two of my SBRs).

Don't expect the person who answers the phone to know what a dust cover is, though. I'd bring it in and let them look at it.

I had my E-Port cover engraved by Harford Engraving. It wasn't laser, but they'll engrave whatever you want for $20.

Would any of those places do valve covers and air cleaners for a 350?
