Casualty Care - Skills at the Range

This is a hands on skills day for those who have already taken the Casualty Care class or otherwise have Tactical Combat Casualty Care training in the past. Prior knowledge of TCCC concepts and skills is required. This course will have some live fire associated with it, but it is not built around shooting and is not mandatory. This course is open for anyone - Civilian, Law Enforcement, Military.

Have spots left for this class. I have been working on the moulage and have a pretty good looking blood solution. Come on out to the range, shoot some cuts of meat and then practice treating that gunshot would with blood.

One week left and there are still some spots available. I order the cuts of meat yesterday so we are good to go. Get in on some good hands on training.

Training with good moulage is about as close to realism as you can get short of live tissue training. This would be a great opportunity to get some hands on practice.

Don't let the first time you have to control bleeding be for real. Train, train, train. The life you save may be your own.

Yeah we will have some moulage and "dead" tissue training, ten 12"-18" cuts of beef shank. Put a couple in a pants, put a 5.56 round through it, pump some movie blood though it and get to packing that wound. Get a little ballistics training out of it as well.
