Watch out for the people that are usually at the far end of the same row as Dads, watch how much they charge you in taxes, I called them out on it earlier this month and they didn't seem to care that they are charging 8 ish percent tax when Unincorp Adams is only 4.8 something.

If enough people go by and call them out, maybe they will stop ripping you off.

I had planned on buying 5000 primers from them, had my money out and as I saw him hitting the calculator with the high tax rate I asked him. He said do you want these or not. NOT. The difference was about $5 or $6 bucks but they are ripping you off just the same.

Will someone please reply on the number of people at this show. I drove 50 miles to the last show and it was so crowded I couldn't get in.

I want to go but don't want to drive 100 miles roundtrip and not get in.

Thanks!

Ok; it was crowded, I saw lots of ridiculous prices, some fair prices, few decent prices. It seems to me that there are a lot more crap vendors lately. I saw more trinkets, jewelry, purses, china junk, wallets, candy...crap. Tomorrow should be less crowded and I'll probably go again...crap and ridiculous prices aside, I like to go.

Watch out for Dads too. He likes to play Bad Cop while his wife plays good cop.

You know that each city and county have their own tax rates right?
Here in COSP the total is 7.4%. Thats what I charge no matter where in CO you are from.

Just going by CBI wait times, not much sold. Or else they had a ton of people running checks today. My longest wait was just under 1 hour

I went to the Tanner Gun Show on Sunday. It was to be expected from my previous experiences. Its like a flea market swap meet pretty much. Very few vendors that actually had decent product to sell and a LOT of vendors pushing crap. At one table I seen a Jack Stand for a car and a spare wheel for sale. I was like "What the hell????". There is rarely anything of value for me there from a competition shooting stand point. If I wanted to collect rusted out revolvers, buy Taurus pistols, or pay way too much for an AR-15 then it would be the place to go.

I don't think I will be back to a local gun show any time soon. I don't see why they would charge people money to go to an "event" like that.

I know it doesn't matter where I am from, but if you are selling in another city other than COSP, say Unincorp Adams county as the Tanner Gun Show is, should you not be charging that tax rate, not the rate from COSP?

That was not what a typical Tanner show looks like, I think a lot of the normal sellers were on XMas vaca and they needed to fill tables, hense all the extra crap flea market type tables. Sure there are some of those at all shows but the Dec 27 Tanner show was over run with more of them than I have ever seen.
