I used to take mine to Al's autohaus til he retired. Then Star Tech on Santa Fe.

Lately our friend on the board Chris aka Bavarian Motors has been my go to guy.

I think it is TeamLeader on this forum that has a shop down your way.

Keep in mind if you want to use me I am typically scheduled out well over a week. Emergencies can be dropped off and I will try to work them in but it is best to call early.

And to clarify, I am a German Car guy with some experience on the rest of the stuff out there. I have worked on just about everything except a Bugatti and a Ferrari at this point.

Jap and Domestic are somewhat foreign to me. I can do it and do it right but it may take longer and cost more then going to a specialist.

Never heard of a platinum ASE technician, lol. Mostly domestic and Asian here, but I'm down in the Springs.

Has to do with how long you have been a master tech. If you maintain it for x amount of years you get "Gold" status. I figure "Platinum" would be like 15 years or some such.

I passed all of them and L1 once. Then I stopped caring.

Never paid any attention honestly. I just hand them my money and go. This year is 15 years as a master tech, guess that makes me special?
