Being fairly new to the springs other than sportsmans I don't know any gun places here. I need to find some one that can press the rear site out of the barrel on the model 99 savage that i refinished the stock on. A point in the right direction would be appreciated. Should be pretty straight forward.

When Earl feels like it :D But seriously, Earl at Hickman Rifles is a skilled gunsmith if you have the time.

Earl does great work, but patience is a virtue when dealing with his shop. I've had good luck with Specialty Sports for simple gunsmithing tasks.

Good know. Not much work to do, stock has been done already. Have a Nikon bought and ready to put on just want the back site gone for a bit of a cleaner look and figure its easier to do before mounting the scope.

This is how she currently looks.

She sure looks purty. You did a great job refinishing that stock.
