Bloody hell. It's a continuous rain of shit. The article disguises it as even handed, but it feels like another attack on evil guns to me.

I suggest you don't click on this link which was to the right of the range article. The comments are worth a read. Especially considering it is the BOULDER RAG

I did click that link as well. Obviously, this info is important to have, therefore all guns should have a micro chip which transmits its owners DNA to the Feds for testing.

Bump, the Boulder public hearing is on the 23rd. Whether you want Lefthand to stay open or you want to keep the idiots away from your range it would be a good idea to voice your opinion. Trust me they are not going to make a public range for the people that use Lefthand nor will they expand the Longmont police range so you can shoot more then 2-3 times a month.

Damn, missed the Clear Creek one on the 16th (first time reading this story), and that could have deep implications for the future of the Squaw Pass site, which is heavily contested lately.

I guess that plan to rebuild the North Site into a public facility evaporated in a cloud of fairy dust?

Yes, the neighborhood NIMBYs successfully got the USFS and Boulder Commissioners to quash any range at the old Allenspark dump site. They made noise an issue but it was the occasional bullet dropping around houses that did it in.
