Okay, I am trying to identify some ammo which is available to me. The guy says it is LC Silver tip 168gr. There is no LC on the Headstamp. Just the NATO Cross and circle. The primer has 3 small, square crimps around it with green primer sealant. It is stamped with DAG93A0307. Anyone have any ideas? He sent me 5 to test I just haven't been able to get out to the range yet. Thanks. Don't have any photos just yet, but I will get them if needed.

German. The seller might be misrepresenting his ammo purely for resale value.

Thank you JIM! Do you know anything about the quality of the brass? I can get 500 rounds for $550.00 not sure if that is a good deal or not. I have been shooting 175 gr Federal GMM only through my rifle so far. Guess I need to get out the chrono and get to the range this weekend.

DAG is good ammo. Not match quality, but very good blasting ammo. The brass, if it is original and unfired, is very good as well. That said, I don't remember DAG making NATO approved 168g 7.62x51.. I'm pretty sure the only NATO 7.62x51 that DAG did was 147g.

You should hammer the seller on his price, seeing how he misrepresented the item as LC.
Both of the links are OOS (surprise) However your guy is asking 2x for the qty involved

My understanding is that DAG equivalent M80 ball (147gr) is a bi metal projectile that meets Geneva reqs but performs like JHP. I've run some and it performed as expected for blaster ammo

Now that you mention it, I believe you're correct on that. I'd have to look at a couple empty cases to verify but I'm away from the house.

Not all DAG is Berdan primed.. Or I am loosing my mind as I am betting money positive that I have some reloads I did with DAG brass. But, I drink a lot so who knows.
