States that honor CCW (Reciprocity)

I'm taking a Front Sight handgun class in November, and am driving there. As I understand reciprocity, my CO CHP is valid in Utah and Arizona, but not Nevada. Therefore, would the safe course of action be to carry in Utah and AZ, but not in NV? Just trying to be sure...

You must be a resident of the state that issued the permit for Colorado to honor it. If I read the document in Hawk1's original post correctly it indicates five other states are the same. Of those five two also don't honor Colorado permits. So having Utah and Colorado permits doesn't cover you in all states.

I thought that there were many more that six states that had the residency requirement but I was unable to verify that.

I may be wrong on this but it has always been the reason I have had no interest in getting a non-resident permit. In the past I have verified this to be true but I haven't been able to verify it today. With the way laws have been changing lately I would want to verify it.

When I last checked with the CBI list http://www.colorado.gov/cs/Satellite/CDPS-CBIMain/CBON/1251622200175 Nevada does not recognize Colorado.
