Just found out my wife is pregnant with our 2nd child! We thought she was only 8 weeks along, but come to find out that today she is actually 13 weeks along. We're looking at a December 30th due date...but we are hoping for a New Years baby because of insurance purposes. Our current insurance only covers 50% of our costs, and the insurance we're switching to covers 90% after the deductible (which is also 1/3 the amount of our current insurance).
It's just funny some of the curveballs that life throws you. This kid was a complete "Oops!", and it is coming right in the thick of our plan to get out of consumer debt. I guess someone had some other plans for us instead :) We're super excited though, I just had to be a proud daddy and tell some folks. Merry Christmas to us though!

Congratulations. Ours was due in January, delivered 12/27, due to insurance (deductible rolls at begining of year) and tax deduction.
They know what causes pregnancy these days, gotta wrap it up dude. [Coffee]

Funny part about that is my wife was on birth control. She forgot to take it for 1 whole day and BAM here comes another little one.
Congrats and maybe a payoff is in order to some if its born on the 31 or sooner.
Aw- how wonderful! Congratulations, and what a wonderful surprise. :)
Congrats man!
