Say hello to the wife's new dog... She wanted a lap dog, but I wouldn't get anything smaller than this guy... It's a 6 month old Shiba Inu, we picked him up from a couple in Castle Rock last night that didn't have the time to take care of him. The damn thing's smart... Already knows all of the basic commands, is cage trained (don't actually care about), and I haven't heard him bark till tonight when we came in the back way, with all the lights off. That was the only time he's made a peep! I'm loving this guy...http://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h403/asrspyder/DSCN5375_zps8a5fb285.jpghttp://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h403/asrspyder/DSCN5376_zpsef72cd02.jpghttp://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h403/asrspyder/DSCN5379_zps17ca56be.jpg
Beautiful pooch!!
He looks like a keeper!
Cool dog. Wasn't familiar with the breed. Looked like a spitz...and it is one. That's probably one of the most interesting dogs I've seen in that size range.
I had to dog-sit an Akita once. Not a fun experience.

Had to close the browser real quick when the wife walked in the room, or I'd be having another dog right now.
Good lookin' pooch.

You are correct sir! This dog isn't a burden though. My uncle had an Akita/Husky mix, and it was a pain in the ass. This little guy is nothing like that.
Cool dog they are very active! So take him out for walks/runs 3-4 times a day

Awesome! My in-laws have a shiba inu / australian sheppard mix and it's a really great dog!

Adorable!
Shibas are really clever and will get bored easily if they don't have things to challenge them. You have chosen well- he looks and sounds like an excellent dog!
You guys did good, they are great dogs !!!
Glad he found his forever home..............[rockon]
He is a very obedient dog. I really like this pup. He knows not to play with my boy rough (jumping on, overly aggressive), plays harder with my daughters (older by twice the boys age), and plays roughest with me by a long shot, but still doesn't bite, or nip with me. As far as energy, I hear he can go and go and go at the park, especially with my four kids. I also hear that he hasn't gone anywhere but outside today to pee, and has been perfectly fine just chillin with the kids watchin movies. This pup is too good.......
Oh, and we have a rabbit (don't ask me why) that he chases, but then sleeps next to....
Yer gunna have your hands full. [Tooth]
