Got a call today checking on my F4 for a suppressor sent on feb 1 was told it went pending march 22 the guy on the phone Said I should expect to get it approved by dec. kind of sucks looks like the times have gone up to 8-9 months after pending. Granted this could be just what they are told to say but from everything I keep hearing with the temp help being let go and some of the full time examiners retiring and or being promoted looks like times will be increasing rather than decreasing for the foreseeable future.

Time to crawl back into my cave and reload some more.[gohome]

Yeah times are definitely up and rising, the reason I put in for 2 more SBRs last month. Bought a suppressor back in March and waited over two months just for a F3...

Yep, long waits. Here's a synapses of my times:

2013-02-24: USPS confirmed delivery.
2013-02-27: ATF check was cashed. Yep, only 3 days!
2013-04-11: Went pending.

I was just told by the ATF today, it will be about 9 months after it went pending. That's January of next year!

It seems our government is not working for us, but against us. Or they have no specific intent, just incompetent.
I thought Obama was suppose to change things? He sure did. Of course no one said for the better.

It has been this way for a long time.

Hopefully you'll get your items before 9 months, makes me happy I did mine when the wait was only 6-7 months.

BTW, what happened to the "extra" workers that the NFA group was supposed to get to help clean up the backlog?
