I figured that the folks on this forum would be interested in the tone of this question. I am updating my clearance and this is a question asked:
"Have you EVER been a member of an organization that advocates or practices commission of acts of force or violence to discourage others from exercising their rights under the U.S. Constitution or any state of the United States with the specific intent to further such action?"

That's funny...
Makes me remember a question on the PSA I took for work...
"Fire Fascinates Me."
Strongly agree, Agree, Neither, Disagree, Strongly Disagree.
How do you answer that one?
I guess the CO Legislators can't get security clearances then?

Pretty much where I was going with it.

Typical. How many words can you use when asking, "Are you a Democrat?"

I've answered Strongly Agree to that question and never heard a word about it.

Well did you know that most firefighters are pyromaniacs? Seems legit.

My ex wife and current wife both have/had uncles who are firefighters, on in Chicago, other in Salt Lake, and both are total sparkies.

Not Backdraft sparkies, mind you, but fascinated with things that go boom and the nature of fire/camfires etc.

Fixed it: that's how the Dems read that question!

My old man... he was a Colorado Certified Pyrotechnician, as well as being the assistant chief of the FD up here... he and his FD buddies loved to play with fire! [LOL]

I thought this one was interesting for this group and actually thought about you guys the last time I took it...
Here’s the question: ”Have you ever been an officer or a member of, or made a contribution to, an organization dedicated to the use of violence or force to overthrow the U.S. Government…?”

I think that would be the "R" party to the current administration.[LOL] They just need to reword it. Did you vote D, R or I in the last election.

I just went through this as well. I remember one question asked something to the effect of altering the government by unconstitutional means. I thought it was interesting.
My update is being done right now. I just wrote that I have no plans on blowing any whistles and that I've already been to Sheremetyevo International Airport and I like my bathrooms at home much too much to consider taking up residence there. Besides that, listening to all of your telephone calls is just plain boring [gohome]
I checked "Si"

I checked "Si"
To my question? I checked NO. LOL
29.4, with its new wording, is the one one that always throws me for a loop - I have to read it 10 times to understand it..

Have you ever performed any illegal sexual acts?
Have you ever performed any illegal sexual acts?
Unpleasant but not illegal [dig]
Toughest part of a polygraph is getting comfortable. If I can get comfortable, the second toughest part is staying awake. Everyone should take one at least once. After that, it is just a nuisance.
