This one is in Boulder, and not a bad price. We have a couple of these and they're pretty bulletproof:

This is a great deal:

I got the second one down. Love it. The smaller ones always end up with stuff piled on top by the end of the day

Get a Rigid from Home Depot.
Might surprise you that they are asking more than new on Craigslist most of the time.

FYI.. just did a search after I typed, and yup, I was right.

The greenlee listed above from craigslist looks like a good deal but I'm not sure of the style of locking mechanism they use, I like the system in the Jobox and Knaacks.. I'll have to keep my eyes open for the right one to come along and maybe give white cap a call, looked at Grainger but as usual their prices are crazy. Maybe I'll head over to Home Depot and see if they can get one of the Rigids down to inspect, they keep them all wrapped up on top of the shelf at the store here in Boulder. Thanks!

The greenlee's latch under the handle. I use a Disc style lock to secure mine, when unattended. If you look at the first link GM listed the top right inside has a long tab with hole in it (if you can make it out) that when closed is under the cut out / handle area.

I've seen them growing at the end of a cable on a crane. I imagine they are a pain to harvest. [LOL]

Try Runge Tools out of Denver if C/L fails you.

This is what I was going to say. At about Mississippi and Santa Fe. He buys from companies going under, surplus auctions, etc. All different brands and styles, but random availability.

RSC in Denver (8th and I25) has great pricing on Knaack brand boxes. They're just as good if not better than Jobox. Knaack actually manufactures the Ridgid Boxes for Home Depot. They are the lowest price model that Knaack makes, and you need a torch and some time to break into them. If you're just looking for a steel box, go with the Ridgid. If you want the name and a few added security features, go with the Knaack from RSC. I wouldn't steer you away from buying from Craigslist as the only way one of those boxes goes bad is if it's been beat to hell.

Get a Rigid from Home Depot.

+1 if you're looking to buy a brand new one. Knaack manufactures them and then paints them for Rigid.
