So...what does it take to be "licensed" to sell mags to police, to military, or on line?
Not be in Colorado. [Coffee]

I believe they just need to have a serial number...

I haven't seen any regulations issued by CBI yet.
Colorado law says if you are licensed to sell mags you can be in possession, can continue to buy new mags. The feds don't require licensing to buy and sell mags like they do firearms...so...what does it take? I may get "licensed" so that I can have what I want.

Any firearms lic is applying for a FFL. The LE Glocks will once again come with mags marked LE / Military RESTRICTED.

You've got yourself confused. There is no "licensed to sell magazines".

That is my point in all this.
This is a question I had as well. Also what does it look like for LE to buy mags? Just a flash of the badge? Dept. letter? Ordering through the Dept?

first there needs to be mags with serial numbers on them, but with guns it's just a police ID. Don't know if it will be different.

Incorrect. The mags are marked LE RESTRICTED and or LE/ MIL RESTRICTED USE ONLY.

No i have not, however LE firearm purchases will come with LE designated magazines. Just as they did during the 94-2004 AWB. The LGS's up here are only selling more than 15 rd mags to current LE's . Unfortunately even the LE's are unsure of what they will be able to purchase. Which is why the lawsuit was filed.

The old "LE RESTRICTED" etc. markings of the AWB era were from a national law. The markings on magazines greater than 15 rounds would need to be Colorado specific and are not required nationally. Until CBI issues regulations, I do not believe we know how they will be marked.
Further, the legislation itself only requires markings on magazines manufactured in Colorado.
