Uh oh.... those aren't any good. You should really drop that off here in Trinidad before you get hooke.....I mean frustrated by all the time spent on this horrible time consuming hobby. In all seriousness, great choice. With a little maintenance, it should last forever.

That scale on top of the box.
It's like buying a $3000 bolt rifle and you put on a walmart scope and rings on it.
I'm giving you shit. Buy once! Cry once Brother! Save up and get you a really nice scale. That press is gorgeous by the way.

You buy once! cry once!
I bought the RCBS1500... gonna get the dispenser here in a few weeks/months. I wish I actually got this earlier... been loading my rounds with ease in the mind and faster than when I used the same scale you have on hand right now.
I saw the price on these big name scales and said the same thing.... but in due time... we'll see you buying a pricey scale on here soon [Coffee]

I can't justify a charge master when I can achieve the same thing for $300 less.

Probably... Right now my next purchase will be a power case prep thing... Doing it by hand sucks.
Holy crap! How can you work in that?

I'm talking about the primer pocket stuff...
As far as trimming goes... I'm going to avoid brass that needs trimming like the plague until I get a one of those little hand trimmers.

MyWeigh GemPro 250. $140 scale, measures down to 0.02 GRAINS.
Very excellent scale, read the reviews on it. Or, check out the Brian Enos scales, they have great reviews and lifetime warranty too.

Oh yea, and what you bought is honestly worse than buying an AR lower receiver.
You think you can get buy with just the press, then realize all the other crap you have (sorry, GET) to buy. Then, ya gotta feed it too!
Reloading is very addictive, almost as much as shooting.

If you need to borrow a Hornady headspace gauge, PM me. I', in Englewood about once/month.

JM... your bench looks like a car that someone is living in. [facepalm]
Congrats on the new loading gizmo. I have a new reloading gizmo still new in a box, waiting for more stuff, better scale than what came with it, and..........knowing wft I am supposed to do with it.
Cool, brother.
I seriously need to get schooled on reloading.

Welcome to the world of reloading!!! I have not upgraded my system in 5 years and have a hatred for my self not doing so. If you get the bug you will understand. Crying happens often till you have your own setup and a need to on a yearly basis.
Nice setup. I have used the same press and basic equipment since I was a kid, helping my Dad spit out rounds. I look at the new stuff and it surprises me what is out there. Is my setup fast? Nope. Does it work? Yep!
Now I need to get some more casting equipment and get busy.
I forgot to mention....hanging out with Randy is BAD if you want to keep some money in your pocket. LOL
I have this insane itch to get started on a new bolt gun because of him. The effort I am using to restrain myself is taxing! :)

My dad has been using that same press for as long as I can remember, he'd put me to work popping out spent primers for hours as a child. I don't know how many pulls that handle has seen (that's what she said lol), but it's A LOT.
