A friend of mine picked up a 1987 Denver Broncos AFC Champions NEW, UN-DRILLED bowling ball at a garage sale for super cheap. He has the strong feeling that it's worth a whole hell of a lot more than what he paid for it.

So the question now is, "Exactly how much IS this beauty worth?"

A collector in FL suggested to list it on eBay for like $800 and see what offers come in, in order to get an idea of what the market will bear. What if he can get more than that for it?! It would seriously suck to get undercut, even at that price range.

I've never been in there, but possibly worth a try?

Well there's one from the SUPERBOWL champion 2007 Colts on eBay with an asking price of $150, and not a single nibble on it yet...

Yeah.. Thats probably going to be a tough sell.

Plenty of people out there that collect Broncos stuff, but being a bowling ball limits your potential market. Especially in the $800 range..

Yeah, 2007 Colts SB champs bowling ball for ~$150 I saw those, but this one is 1987 Broncs and still un-drilled. I don't know about the $800 range either, but it was a suggestion to my friend from someone who is a collector of these types of items. Maybe the most he gets offered is a couple hundred. Well that at least gives him an idea of what the market will bear.

This.

People who collect football stuff usually want helmets, footballs, etc.

Not bowling balls.
