Good video that shows a Sheriff's Deputy in New York (?) schooling a thuggish TSA official who was trying to stop people around a TSA checkpoint from filming and advocating against TSA policies. TSA knows that they can't stop people from filming a TSA checkpoint, and includes that information on its website but its officials either don't know or think that they can arbitrarily create law and regulations at a whim.

Note that this isn't a low grade TSA worker, this isn't a training issue, this is the Director of Public Relations at the regional office. I can't believe that this behavior is accidental or uninformed.

Awesome. Days like this would have to suck to be a cop. Obviously not his worst day on duty but damn. Babysitting.

Douglas Myers does not work for TSA. He is an employee of the Albany International Airport authority.

Wait, this can't be true? It's from an associate of Alex Jones and InfoWars!?! [panic] </sarcasm>

Props to Deputy Stan Lenic for knowing & supporting those people's rights!!

This doesn't make me miss my old home of NY state, however...

haha me either, I won't go through one of those fricken things. They always look at me like I've grown a third eye when I tell them I'm an opt out and they always seem to think that I'm the crazy one, yet not a single one of those jackholes goes through it because their union fought for them on it. It's so hypocritical it's amazing.
