My dogs love them...to eat that is. Been a few in the house today. Bees or wasps, doesn't matter. I guess they have been stung before, because all of 'em take great care in eating. Funny to watch.

Man, when our first Beagle was about 6 mos. old, I was in the backyard grilling and turned around, and she was lying on the porch step looking for all the world like she was dead. Limp, eyes rolled back, tongue hanging out, messed herself, the whole 9 yards. Hauled ass with her to an emergency vet clinic, and all they could figure was that she must have gotten stung by a hornet. Gave her some Benadryl and kept her overnight for observation, charged us $400. Anaphylactic shock, I think they called it. She came out of it fine, but that scared the hell out of me, and hornets meet an unpleasant demise around our place now.

Dogs get into weed stashes up here. "Stoned" dogs aren't much fun. The vets are stocking up on steroids.
