The internet is full of information, a lot of it is bad or misleading, but there is some good out there. I found a web page 8541 Tactical and have enjoyed the articles and videos. I’m not saying it is the end all, be all, but I learned a lot and improved my skills. So please share your favorite web pages you use to learn or improve skills and reviews on gear. I know our first stop is always Colorado AR-15 Shooters, but more knowledge is a good thing.

I don't know if this thread is on the right section, but I'll make it relate.
If there is any type of training or skill I'd like to learn.. I'll just pull it up on Google and I follow where ever Google brings me, but after I get a little understanding of what I'm looking for... then I'll come back in here.
The benefit with coming back in here is it's local. I can meet up with the good folks on here and put my research to the test with the guys that share the same interest. The learning curve never ends (especially for long range shooting). From time to time... if I feel confident enough with my findings and or experience I will share it on other forums.
This may not necessarily be my first stop... but it sure is my spot that I really rely on and feel more than comfortable with gathering info and taking that info and putting it to good use.
A lot of good people in here that are more than willing to come out and actually meet up and help you with what you need too!

Good things don't really come that easy... besides, where's the fun in that? [Coffee]

I'll continue to practice my google-fu. The journey continues grasshopper.
Go poke around on the Snipers Hide. The problem with Internet sources is your inability to evaluate the knowledge and experience of the writer. I see a lot of advice that is taken as gospel that is just plain wrong. You'll find a few guys on that site that give thoughtful, well reasoned answers, and a bunch of others who just write the first thing that comes to mind.
I'd advise you to ask your specific questions here. Due to the active competition scene here in CO, there is a disproportionally large number of knowledgable shooters locally. Also, go hit some matches, ask and learn.

The problem with the internet is that if someone can write well they can make it sound like there out there shooting all day when really there in the house playing battlefield and reading other people's options on the internet
Arfcom is main reason I went through so much useless crap on my ar
