Yeah the humor from the hosts is stupid but you just cannot pay for comedy like the rest of it, there's nothing like seeing people getting laid out Repeatedly!!

My brother's friend was on Wipeout. He said you have to sign all sorts of waivers and tons of people got concussions and what not. Lol. That show cracks me up.

I catch it sometimes flipping channels and watch until the commercial. I make sound effects when they get pounded or bounce off some obstacle, even my wife will sometimes make the sound effects. At the commercial I flip to something else but, I think it is funny to see total strangers get the crap knocked out of them.

Wipeout is a contrived rip-off and I can't stomach it. The guys that took the original Takeshi's Castle content and edited it to make MXC were really good.

I've been watching Wipeout since season 1 and it was an alright show to fill the void that MXC left. Really funny the first few seasons though and has tapered off a little bit IMO. Still fun to just sit, check out and laugh at other people's misery.

She wasn't on for a couple of seasons and they brought her back. Good choice IMO as she's perfect for that role.

MXC was awesome.

Only watched Wipeout once and wasn't impressed. The obstacles are not done well because things happen randomly in a manner that makes them difficult to get past. Like something will pop out EVERY time someone gets near, JUST to make them fall off. I prefer people falling and failing because they fail physically, rather than some pneumatic arm that knocks everyone off.

MXC was better. Japanese contestants were the most uncoordinated people I've seen.
