So I recently acquired an unused Mayflower LPAC - and now I want some plates to go with it. I already have a fully kitted up Mayflower LPAAC with VS-PULVs in it and I fucking LOVE it. However, it doesn't look like I can get VS-PULVs cut to fit the LPAC. So I am looking for a recommendation on the current best plates to get that will fit into the LPAC.

My threat level for this vest is really for domestic use and is mainly for civil unrest only - give to a buddy if something happens, or run a slicked down carrier if I want (again domestic, civil unrest kinda thing). I don't need NIJ certification since this is just for me. Looking for multi-strike capability - and ideally would just love some VS-PULVs that fit, but Mayflower wont answer their damn email and I can't get a phone call back. So something like Level IV ICW against 7.62x39 mild steel core. Or Level IV.

I am thinking just a normal/standard cut ESAPI "type" plate (don't want or need the bulk of real ESAPI plates).
Ideas?

The AR500 armor steel plates? They're coating them w/ linex for anti-spall and they're reasonably cheap but stupid heavy (think about 20lbs for both).
