So I guess this is happening next to an REI store and REI posted on facebook that all were safe in there store. Then all the libs that shop there and follow them on face book chimed in on about guns and some are calling it another MASS SHOOTING. [panic][panic]

What a joke. How can someone argue that robberies will stop if guns are removed from society?

Two people are dead following a Friday afternoon jewelry store shooting in San Francisco, police said. They have arrested one suspect and are searching for a possible additional suspect.
Police have evacuated the building at 888 Brannan near 7th Street in the South of Market area and have placed it on lockdown as they conduct a search with SWAT and K-9 teams, Albie Esparza of the SFPD told NBC Bay Area's Jean Elle.
Officers who arrived on the scene, responding to reports of shots fired, encountered a suspect covered in blood, police said.
The suspect then opened fire on the officers, police said. The suspect then fled and ran into a second group of officers, whom he also fired on, according to police. He was then taken into police custody.
Inside the building, officers found two people in the lobby who had been shot and killed. They are continuing their search for a possible second armed suspect.
Officers on the scene have been telling people to shelter-in-place and to stay indoors.

Unpossible. Firearms are highly restricted in that state. Must be a typo.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ROBBERS

It has become common place to NOT Give Descriptions WHEN the "Suspects" are of Minority persuasion. In NY while back for a wedding they news posted pictures of the "perps" clearly Black. However they described them as
2 youths wearing dark clothing and hoodies.. [facepalm]

San Francisco obviously needs more stringent firearms legislation, their current laws are not preventing this sort of thing. If in doubt: more laws.

What's also missing is whether or not the dead person in the store was staff, customer or robber.
