Wow. I'm amazed that ANYONE trusts the mainstream media to accurately report on complex issues. They can't even spot something as simple as this racist joke before putting it on air as fact.

This is the way I felt too. I really feel like I'm going to burn for laughing at this but it's a real black mark on the media. If I was the reporter I wouldn't even read that. Fail at so many levels on this one that it actually made the news.

Earlier today, in response to an inquiry from a media outlet, a summer intern acted outside the scope of his authority when he erroneously confirmed the names of the flight crew on the aircraft.
Awesome! Just as accurate as anything else they report.
It is already posted on the foreign and South Korean media.
My spelling might be off.

I really do not understand why Kumho-Asiana group is suing local CBS news.
CBS got a bad information. Yes, CBS was dumb enough to publish that without full research, but it wasn't intentional to make fun of the corporation nor pilot.
Company cannot file a suit for local CBS being stupid.
There is no slander of the company nor pilots.
I would be really surprised if Kumho-Asiana does file.
