He posted a picture of a snake he caught in his backyard. It's definitely a python. He's asking if anyone lost a snake and if its a bull snake he would release it. It was at least 3.5 ft long.

I just wanted to see a pic for ID purposes. I'm not a herpetologist but I did stay a Holiday Express last night.

One who studies herpes?

Something like that. Sure.

Some of the things I saw while raising various snakes, lizards and what not would make you wish you were looking at herpes instead. lol

I've had several snakes over the years Ball Pythons were by far the hardest to keep, those damn things got out so often it was amazing, never lost one though.

I had one get out, 5' male and it found its way under the microwave oven on the kitchen counter, wife gets up 5 am in the morning and puts something in the microwave and then the microwave starts moving, could have been in Wyoming and heard the scream....

I had a 12' Burmese python that I kept in my bedroom, that snake would never leave, loved my Waterbed, what a great snake so friendly I used to bring it to schools and let little kids hold it.

I used to ride my 91 FZR 1000 with one of my ball pythons around my neck, rode all over Littleton that way, one day I'm driving along Broadway about 45 MPH and something spooked my python, never did that again...
