Just replaced the factory stock on my .308 Remy 700 with a Choate Ultimate Varmint Rifle Stock. Wow, what a difference!
That looks comfortable and it has a good style to it.

Yeah, going to give it a "shot" this weekend if you're free Sunday!

That looks more "Precision Rifle" profile than anything... the Prairie dogs have no match against such awesomeness [Beer]
Poor p-dogs all they want to do is eat poop and have sex and you big mean shooters are going to ruin their day
RIP p-dogs
nice broomstick bro.

I had the same setup on a Savage 308 it was a great shooter from a rest but a whole lotta no fun to carry around. Nice rifle!
Varmints with a .308? hahahaha poof, red mist.
I've never bothered to shoot my .308 at varmints. Just seemed like overkill. I've always felt like my .223 pops them wide open enough as it is, especially vmax or ntx bullets.
What ever happened to the popped p-doggy pictures thread? It was awesomely gruesome. We should all contribute to it.

I hit a p-doggie with my .223 Remy at about 400 yards, but that was really pushin it. I bought the .308 because most of the little bastards are 500+ yards where we normally shoot. In fact, Cfortune and I were dusting them last time at about 800 yards! Try that with a .223!

Don't threaten me with a good time. I'll see you Sunday. .223 in tow.
Sent from my teepee using smoke signals.

haha I guess that makes perfect sense! I haven't stretched it out past a few hundred, tops.
Nice stock Bonsai! I look forward to seeing it in a couple of days.

Had to upgrade the scope. I liked the reticle of the BSA, but it seemed to have issues holding zero. Going with a Redfield Revenge 6-18x44 with Accu-Ranger Varmint Reticle.

I think you need to sell that one and get one with a fine crosshair with the little dot in the middle.

Awesome! Phil just picked one of those up for his AR10 he had at the last shoot. He brought it into work and the glass was nice!

I think this one should do quite nicely for hold overs!

Range finding too! Zoom to fit a Pdog in the proper bracket, and it tells you the distance and hold over hash mark to use!

The Redfield works like a charm. Here's a nice 200+ yard shot to prove it!
Good distance shot when you were murdering that one.

Kicking around the idea of putting a little varmint gun together myself now.

Too bad we didn't get a pic of the rabbit vs snake!

Rabbit vs snake was probably a better match up for the bunny than rabbit vs Glock.

Hey, he made a move for something in hidden in his fur and wouldn't show me his paws afterwards...

Oh. I thought you were just protecting the snake from imminent danger.

Don't worry little buddy, its only a flesh wound...
I was looking for info on those hollow points you shot that rabbit with. Found a thread here, someone called them a gimmick round.... LOL. Firsthand, I know better.

Yep. You know first hand that if you are ever attacked by a rabbit (or any other animal weighing about three pounds) that you could put it down with just a few rounds.
