how do i know where my sks is from?

i bought an sks but dont know where its from. how can i find out.

certain models were only made in one place and they all should be readily ID'd by the markings on the receiver.


post (or send) me some pictures.. or you could even post what ever is on the receiver here.

on my mag there is a proof mark of a 4 inside a box. theres another one on the end of my gas tube thing and its BK inside of a box. my reciever and stock are numbered d-74693, my bolt is labeled 0-00.004, and my mag is labelled sl-4-00.000. i dont really know what else to tell you.

Is it a standard SKS or does it have a grenade launcher on it?

well it looks kinda like the taz96ci from the link you gave me. but mines dark brown, it doesnt have a grenade launcher but i think it used to before they cut the barrel.

Are you the one selling your SKS earlier? If so you have a yugo SKS with a choate stock on it. Nice M11 too if that was you I mean.
