Will be with a few fellows that know the big shots at the NRA.
Here's your chance to ask a few questions.
1 rule....keep it civil, thanks
Pick & choose from the NAGR/RMGO thread in the Legislative section. Enuf in there to keep the conversation interesting.

Will the NRA stand tough on their stance against ANY type of record keeping (registration, background checks etc.) on gun owners?

When will Magnum PI become president?
What, if any, actions is the NRA planning to rectify the situation with the recent changes with gun laws in Colorado? And what do they plan to do concerning the recall efforts against the offending legislators? When can we expect some VISIBLE support?
Where were they on March 4th when unenforceable laws were shoved down our throats? I was there and I don't recall hearing a "professional witness" from the NRA speaking on our behalf...
Does Wayne really squat when he pees - or is that just an urban myth...

It actually helped us in the Recall Morse efforts that we DIDN'T have any visible support from the NRA because Morse accused us of being NRA shills and had to eat a lot of crow when it turned out the only thing they did was send out a postcard mailer to all members in the area. I think they knew what they were doing -- or weren't -- and acted appropriately.

The NRA was there meeting with legislators. Again, as with the recall efforts, the gun control zealots were accusing protestors of just being a front for the NRA so I think they wisely took a step backward and spoke but let the public see it was common citizens who were against the gun control legislation rather than this "weapons lobby" boogeyman the banners keep talking about.

Here's my real question for them, something that won't give the enemy their playbook or anything: Beyond the Nov 2014 vote, the single biggest campaign we have to win is the hearts of minds of the American people -- what are we doing to get a more positive message about firearms and our American heritage out into the public media -- whether it's through Hollywood or around it. We win when the American people sneer at Hollywood elitists preaching gun control, we lose when the average American starts listening to the bilge out of Matt Damon or Whoopie Goldberg.
