View Full Version : Local Dealer w/Osprey 45 and 22 Suppressor?
I'm trying to find a local dealer that has a good deal on an Osprey 45 w/9mm piston & possibly a .22LR suppressor as well. Ideas? Suggestions?

. Call Alan @ MGT, as you no longer go to jensens or deal with beararms. There's shadowops, in frogmont, and when i find his card rocky mtn tactical in mead. I know he has a few 22 cans in stock.

Good info. Keep 'em coming fellas. I've got some stuff on my plate currently and likely won't be able to get to this until next week but the more duck I have in a row the better.
FYI, the best price I've found on an Osprey 45 w/9mm piston so far is $680 shipped. Of course this would mean going through an 03 FFL and paying that fee but if I buy local I'd have to pay tax as well so these are all the #'s I'm currently looking at. If I can find someone local who's able to meet or beat that price I'll be happy.

Easy decision for me but we have different ideas. To me, I would rather wait another 3-4mos for something I don't need to save 5hrs worth of round-trip driving. In my truck that's over $100 in gas not to mention wear & tear, oil, tires... stuff like that. Oh yeah, and I'll be making the trip twice too. I'd rather stay up here for this one.

Talked to MGT and they wanted $850 for an Osprey 45. Pass.

James answered and was very helpful. He didn't have an Osprey 45 in stock but was going to check on prices for me. He also said he would do NFA transfers so that's something else to keep in mind. He does $40 for NFA transfers & $10 more for CBI if you're doing a trust and if you're doing more than one he does a discount to do them at the same time. Most of my local FFL's don't do NFA items so I'm also shopping for NFA FFL's in case I end up just placing an order online.
Found one out of state for 725.00. I have dealt with the company before and they are gtg.
Chris from Silent Precision called me back. He has the suppressors I want on the way to arrive over the next several weeks. The problem is that his prices are (slightly) higher but by the time I pay tax too I'm looking at over $100 more than ordering online delivered to another NFA FFL. I'd save about $50 probably and either way I have to drive down to the Denver area. Ryan w/JB Tactical just called back and left a voice mail. I'll see what he had to say when I get off the phone and call him back.
