I've removed the FSB off a BCM upper to run free float troy, and now i want to go back to a basic plane jane FSB upper... Problem is I don't know which FSB came off which barrel, but they are all from BCM. I have 3-4 FSB in my spare parts bin.

Can i just reused a FSB from my parts bin?

Nope, you have to buy a new/used barrel with FSB already installed - or else your gun will blow up - seen it happen on the interwebs.

I think you'll find unless you put the one back on that came off the holes for the taper pins aren't going to line up.

If you still have the original FSB then yes, simple reinstall.
If you don't, you need to come see me.
FSB's are match drilled and reamed to a particular barrel and are generally considered "non-servicable".
The odds of a different FSB lining up correctly with your existing barrel are virtually nil.
I can USUALLY drill and ream a FSB to work but at times oversize taper pins are required.

Well isn't that convenient for you, Bert. Sounds like quite the racket you and the evil front sight base industry have going on here.

Well I picked the best looking out of the 4 I had laying around... And reinstalled everything and it seems straight. I did not move my T1 and it seems to still align where the T1 is at with my KAC. Going to the range sometime to reconfirm.

Thx for everyone's insight on this.
