liquid dish soap on the bottom/sides of pots/pans over the fire allows you to wash the black soot right off.
check out home made bee traps if you're being bothered

Surgical gloves in the kitchen box for food prep. Food borne illness sucks when TP is at a premium and the latrine is behind a tree!
Resealable package of UNSCENTED baby wipes for cleaning up before bed. Getting the bug repellent, smkoke and sunscreen off of your face and neckbefore turning in will make you feel a bit more human.
Mix dry mix batters for pancakes, and similar things in zip lock bags. No nasty pot full of half dried batter to clean up after breakfast.
DALES PALE ALE !
The 2 person sleeping bag from Cabelas (I have the 0° version) is one of the best things I ever bought for camping.
Use an old belt or shoulder strap from a duffel bag to gather fire wood by the bundle.
#3 doesn't work from what I understand.

How so? I'm generally curious about its benefits. I've thought about it but I thought it would let in too much cold air if using it by myself. And my wife wouldn't go for sharing it because she knows she'd get the dutch oven treatment.
Krusteaz Pancake Mix IMO is better than Bisquick, it only requires water, no eggs.

I would just get two sleeping bags that zip together.

It can be split to individual bags, in fact, it is packaged as individual bags to begin with. You simply open both bags and zip them together face to face. With her in the same bag, I warm up much faster because she usually lays down earlier than the rest of us (we stay up to "guard" the beer). Allows for extra curricular activities as well. The thing also comes with sheets that you tie into the bag so you dont have to deal with washing the bag itself. It is about the size of a queen bed.

Thanks for the info. That makes sense to me (especially helpful that it comes with sheets).

There are bisquik pancake mixes pre-measured you add H2O shake and pour. Bottles are recyclable, or once home can be washed, add water then freeze for next camping trip.
We have Lugable Loo port a crapper. basic 5 gal bucket with turlet seat. The bags are recyclable / disposable, plus you can carry the "loo bags" tp and sanitizer wipes inside the bucket. Keeping all your "needs" in one place.

Is that Mountain Dew trick for real?
I am pretty sure it was proven not to work. I think Snopes has an article on it.

Girl Scout juice.
A capful of Chlorine bleach in your first rinse pot will keep parasites and food contamination away. Rinse well or you'll get the squirts. Adult supervision required.
Funny, I just got through packing for a camping trip tomorrow.
1. Like I need more stuff to pack.
2. Have to try it this weekend.
4. Tortillas are easier.
5. Yeah right, who cares about plants..........um, does anyone know how to get poison oak off the hootus?
6. TICK CHECK! They can be fun with the miss'.
7. Plastic spice canister with the side of a match box stuffed in with the matches.
8. A plastic bag is easier and takes up less room.
9. Interesting.
10. Too small and I don't eat Tic Tacs.
11. Share the warmth.
12. Hammocks over Sky Chairs.
13. What a PITA.
14. French press.
16. Yeah, if you live somewhere there is no wind. A couple of peach cans with an inch of gas/kerosine will make good tikis.
17. Another PITA.
18. See #13.
19. Interesting but the my pants will fall down.
20. SMORES!
21. Too small for me.
22. Pancakes in a bag is less to clean up.
23. #13.
24. $2.00 in quarters and a laundromat.
25. Skip the charcoal brick.
26. Finally, a use for Doritos.
27. Looks like a mess/fire starter (not the good kind) waiting to happen.
28. Mmmm, sage and rosemary.
29. If you like cheese that tastes like wax.
30. #16.
31. Eeeewww.
32. Interesting but I like campfire pasta.
33. Mmmm, cook eggs in orange peels too.
34. Or stay on the trail.
35. No kids but I'd make sure they were worn out by the end of the day.
36. A cathole trow and roll of TP take up less space.
37. Works.
38. Old bath towels.
39. Switch out water with juice/margarita mix/milk...
40. Roll cardboard into a tuna can and pour in wax. Also makes a good smudge pot.

i've used doritos/fritos for fire starting before and it works well. i had a dorito fall on my driveway once and left a triangular grease stain there for several months.
