View Full Version : Blazer .45 ACP Brass
Batch reloading and I found some rounds would not accept a large pistol primer. They were all Blazer. I set them aside. I thought that perhaps the primer pocket need a deburring/cleaning, but my tool wouldn't fit in the pocket. I have a substantial quantity of .45 acp brass. Should I just dump them into my scrap brass? Your thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you.

They will accept small primers. Some folks around here reload them with no issues. If you don't like the idea of using small primers on 45 auto, you can always sell them.

Seriously, Federal NT are the same way. Set them aside, load them with small primers and use it in matches where you have little chance of getting it back. Just have to bump your charge weight a tenth grain or so...
