I see it as exposing the hypocrisy, not encouraging the same discontent. Calling out Sharpton and Jackson on their contradictory views needs to happen on a much grander scale than forums and The Blaze... IMHO.

Those only defending them without acknowledging the destructive messages they are spreading are just pure apologists. Those that think that they are saying this only for headlines alone and that nobody out there is truly listening to their words or even taking action on their words are only fooling themselves.

Who is apologizing for them? I think they're asshats as do most people I know. They're getting in the news because they work people up <see this thread> If people started ignoring them it go away. As I've said before this same analogy can be used for Westboro Church....nobody likes them, they like to start fires and they always end up in the news. Their is nothing you can do to stop them from speaking.....but you can ignore them. I swear.....people love reading shit that pisses them off....I don't get it.

And as long as you have firecrackers like Michelle Malkin ripping Sharpton a new one on FNC they'll get attention from both sides. I don't think anyone can not listen to Al and Jessie at this point. Besides, when they are on the same sheet of music as our own president, yeah, they won't go away... things will only keep getting worse. Besides, you don't fight evil by ignoring it, you face it head on and be more committed to winning than they are.

Admittedly, I had to look it up, because I was born well after 1940 [Coffee](yet another dated idiom). It's not the fact that they're so stupid that angers me, it's the fact that they have a influence and a following, and their continued racial divisiveness and vitriol actually impacts many people and spreads that demagoguery like a cancer throughout our society. Further, the PRESIDENT of our country is in the same line of thinking. It's not that I am fed up with them being stupid, they're well beyond that, it's downright evil to stand on a platform of racism and push for a new era of segregation and/or hatred based on color instead of merit and character. Again, ignoring evil does nothing but allow it to run rampant.

Ronin, aren't you the who said "We're all a little bit prejudice" or something to that effect? I don't agree with that for one minute, but I'm pretty sure you rambled on about that at one point.
