I saw this posted on another forum-
"Accordingly, Forms 1, 4 and 5 may be submitted using eForms if the applicant maker or transferee is a legal entity, such as a corporation, trust, or LLC. The submission of the application will require that the documents establishing the legal entity be attached electronically to the application."

Now the ATF will have the ability to lose hundreds of Forms at the single push of a button. No more wasted space of hundreds of boxes lost in some warehouse. Or think of the environment when you don't have to waste energy shredding all that paper.[LOL]

On the other hand it would be nice to be able do it by computer. I image they will still have to mail you the final approved Form.

Hmm.. I am going to have to make something just so I can try this out and see how it goes. Been wanting to SBR a Sig 556 for awhile maybe this might be a good test.

cooooool. just got my trust built. hopefully will do the Form 1 about a month from now. (buying a house is getting in the way of my 'project')

Wow. So glad they optimized the part of the process that takes the least amount of time -- sending the app through the US Mail.

Shaved a good two days off the 9 to 12 month process.

The new eforms are already having issues, their method for accepting payment is down and has been down from day 1. I contacted the ATF and they know it is broke and "Hope to have it fixed by tomorrow". For some reason I doubt that will be the case :)

Every day it takes to file seems like another 2 months wait. Just wait until they shut it down due to a hacker.

I was going too but not worth the risk and it hasn't been proven yet as a solid method.
