Been out for a while, for price point a yugo is more cost effective. The Arsenal series of ak's is nice, then again a $600 ak does the same thing w/out the "Name"

The boys over at MGT were trying to convince me to buy an Arsenal AK a few months back - for $1000 I think I could get two shitty AKs or a decent AR.

The sam7 ak has a hot forged receiver with an akm profile barrel, for about half the cost a guy could build a milled ak with a Cnc warrior receiver and use a Bulgarian type 3 parts kit and actually have a real type 3 barrel profile, if you go milled it might as well be a type 3

I'm a big fan of the Bulgy made Weirdo AKs, when US reformed Iraq forces, they didn't want M16s but wanted AKs, since we weren't going to pay Russian for guns, the US got them Bulgarian milled AKs, they are called the AR by Bulgarian, since it has 90' gas block and milled receiver with AKM barrel, Old man Kalsh can't bust them for copy rights.

Yep also why we aren't seeing 5.45 slr stamped bulgys from arsenal anymore since arsenal of Bulgaria was sued by izhmash. The ak's the Iraqis were given by us before the bulgy stuff were even nicer but we cut them up so we could buy them new ones lol (politics) they were first issued brand new East German mpi-kms72's that we found over there fresh in crates. The DDR aided Iraq heavily during the Iran Iraq war (just like us) they even had "advisors" there lol
