View Full Version : Big 5 Info, New Firearm

Hello, New to the site, great work guys. I manage the Big 5 in Castle Rock and I like seeing all of the chatter regarding our C&R rifles. Any questions about availability or pricing, send 'em my way. Also, to give you a heads up, we should all be receiving a new firearm this week. I am getting one on friday, it is a VZ24 7MM Mauser. The retail price is $199.99, no sale pice yet. Haven't seen one yet, I'll post more when I get it.

Is yours the only Big 5 that sells firearms? I've never seen any at any of the other stores.

Welcome to the site! The Big 5's here in Co Spgs carry rifles & also carry ammo.

I'm sure they all carry rifles, but none carry handguns. I've been the the one south of Boulder, and the one in Fort Collins and they both had rifles for sale.

Yeah, they all sell firearms once the FFL paperwork goes through. No handguns though. Wide range of ammo, handgun calibers included.

An update on the VZ24. It is Czech marked with a nice turn-down bolt. The one I got looked like it was recovered from the bottom of the Caspian Sea. I talked to two other store managers and they said theirs were in much better shape. The stores are at 88th and Wadsworth, and c-470 and Kipling.

you mean east of washington right? ir is there another I don't know of...
