Firearms included, what toys should every man own? Can be dream toys like a Ferrari or a rust bucket that took 20 years to restore. I was just thinking of what I would like to own before I start a family.

How about a motorcycle?

At least one rifle that will fire .50BMG ammo.
How about a 22 year old nymphomaniac?

House, bird dog, motorcycle, Glock, 870, lever gun and a revolver.
House: Check
Bird dog: Check
Motorcycle: Next on my list
Glock: Check, Check, Check
I do need a couple 870's, and a nice lever gun. I am also drooling over one of the Chiappa rhino's. I know some of you think they are ugly but I think they are one of the coolest guns.
Also on my list is:
Restoration Project (Car and Moto)
Tig Welder
A nice watch (Rolex is dreaming big, would settle for a Tag)
Toyota Tundra
Precision Rifle
A very nice record player (Like the one from the remake of The Mechanic)
A custom tailored suit
A smoker
A full humidor with nice cigars (going to the Dominican in January so I will be bring back some nice stuff)
A full wine cabinet
A dirt bike
A somewhat sporty car
An ATV
and to totally contradict myself... I would love to be debt free (not including a car payment and mortgage)

This should be your first priority. It gives me greater satisfaction than any of the stuff listed, but then again, i don't have a 22yo nympho either....

G.I. Joe with the Kung Fu grip.
Evil Kneivel zip cycle.
Cox .049 airplane
Estes rockets
Well ya said toys dammit!
Forget the nympho, if it has tits or wheels it will give you problems and at least with wheels, you throw enough money at the problem it will eventually go away......

I'd go for her mom. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. You then get someone to hold a conversation with AND possibly the same musical taste.
Besides the 22yr age bracket is more prone to STD's than say her 40+ yr old mom, hopefully.

A very nice record player (Like the one from the remake of The Mechanic) Pro-ject 9.2 RPM table with an Ortofon 2M red(why a $100 cartridge on a $2K table is beyond me but it must have looked good for the movie) Amp is a Jolida 502. Nice amp, Not my kind of cartridge but many like them and yes for many the table is kinda cool but there are many tables that can be had for 1/2 the price that sound every bit as good.
A better way to your ears would be a $400 Pro-ject table or one of the vintage Denon or Yamaha TOTL tables for about $500 and a good cartridge $150-$300 should work. Of course if you just want good music I could set ya up for about $200 [Flower]

Just remember, if you're right handed, tilting your wrist to right means up and tilting your wrist to the left means down. Or was it the other way around?????? Dammit, Dad... it was so freaking cold that day after Christmas. That's what made the plastic so brittle, right?

One good service rifle.
A dog.
A guitar.
A motorcycle.
A fly rod.
A place to go without TV reception or cell service, with big hungry stupid fish and/or rabbits, and no neighbors.

These are all awesome. It sucks, I have the money to get some cool shit but I'm about ready to sell my house and upgrade. I want to make a bad ass man cave and I dont want to invest another penny into my house now. I dont have any room for some of the top things on my list.

I want a good liquor cabinet, a good wine rack and a nice humidor all filled with top shelf stuff.
Motorcycle: Your choice, I have a sportbike, cruiser, and currently own a Can-am Spyder
Car/truck: If you like go-carting, a smaller sports car like is fun. If you like just big trucks and going where ever - trucks are fun.
Guns: ANY
some sort of project with some money invested into it. Whether its video games (good computer), project cars (67 chevelle with a 383 stroker), Boats (42' baja), etc.

Diesel pickup, camper, john deere tractor with plenty of implements, atvs, motorcycles, a boat, a ton of trailers to haul everything. Also on my list a Unimog doka and an older fire truck. get all the guns you can afford to buy, a compound bow, a recurve, a cross bow. A good horse and a good dog.

1, An old truck.
2. A good bottle of bourbon.
3. A useful workspace.
4. A decent mug/soap/razor.

make sure your next home, if it does not have a large shop / garage. You can build on without running in to zoning issues. ALWAYS GO BIGGER then you settle on. We did a 30x24 based on cash on hand. Even the spouse says we should have made a few payments and went fence line to fence line. for here that would have been a 40 x 60 with enough room to still have a mice size yard.

What's you take on the can-am? IF i was ever able to ride again, it looks like a potential option to a 2 wheeler?
This should just about cover it....

When it comes to toys, I don't think any of them fall under the header of "should have". If they did, they wouldn't be called 'toys'.

something that is not a savage in .338 Lapua
and a good 4x4 electric RC car (Traxxas etc. not the cheap shit from radio shack or walmart)
Had alot of "toys" over the years, now I have a few things I need.
Mostly you need a place to go where no one else goes with you, to look at and to breath in without any distractions, to live a day alone, to ponder the universe and to see how small you really are.
IMHO toys are when one can afford them (something I was taught when I was learning the ropes as a finance manager for a motorcycle dealer). And not everyone is the same- such as myself, I'm not mechanically inclined, so a project car would just be a baffling pile of metal sitting in the garage- although it would be neat to learn and eventually restore a 1971 Dodge Charger.
What every man needs though:
An AR
An EDC pistol
A 1911
A shotgun (take your pick on the brand and style)
A hunting rifle (if you hunt)
A grill (smoker optional, but I want one)
A decent TV- especially during football and hockey season
A decent stereo... the louder the better, otherwise you don't get the full intended experience that Led Zeppelin wanted their listeners to have.
A lawnmower that works
And just for good measure- A Katana, for the simple fact that they're one of the coolest things ever created by man... [Coffee]

Agreed they are as elegant as they are deadly like a 1911.

It rides nothing like a motorcycle or a conventional trike. It is fun to ride, but I miss the lean of 2 wheels. I have the "sport" version, so I dont have all the extra bag's on the back, or all that full fairing fancy crap. I have to shift with a clutch, but you can get an electric shift. I would highly suggest trying it.

Anyone have a nice Fountain Pen? Ive always wanted one but I'm in the IT industry so I dont use pen and paper often.
A good-quality chainsaw (although it's more of a tool than a toy).

Fountain pen? I don't think I've seen one in years! Of course these days you say "fountain pen" and most people under 30 will say "Will that work with my iPad?" [facepalm]

A Kegerator!
A blind fold, wire leads with alligator clamps, and a 6v motorcycle battery.
Also a good universal remote for the entertainment center.
A nice set of golf clubs.
Don't forget Tire Chains.
I'll throw in a quality flashlight too. I finally bought my first "expensive" light and it's well worth it.
