Here we go, she must be a bad lady cause she posted a pic of herself with a gun, on her personal website. Neither article actually says why the pic was in bad taste or what rule/law/school policy it violated, I suspect it was just not PC. They certainly don't mention the picture was taken on school grounds, just that it was just "in poor judgement".

I would sue the school if I was her. In her personal life she is allowed to own firearms (I assume this), and that is her right. Firing her or putting her on some sort of leave for having guns, shooting guns, or having pictures of her with guns sounds like a sweet lawsuit to me.

Everyone but me in my family is teachers and all of us use guns or shoot them or hunt with them.

I am amazed at the level of stupidity in some people. How dare her for thinking she can have a gun, much less post a picture where innocent children can see it. I am sure a creative DA can come up with some kind of criminal charge to throw at her for flagrant endangerment of school children. [/sarcasm]

I really hope she doesn't back down, but it looks like she already has.
