Hi, everybody i am very new at all shooting thing but I am hooked. I started couple months ago and have visited range 4 times. I decided to buy my own Glock 19 9mm. I will be buying it this Sunday at Firing Line Aurora. Any other suggestions?
I am very interested in IDPA, so please give me some advices how to start. Also, please recommend good shooting ranges or clubs. By the way, I will be starting Police Academy this August.

best way to do IDPA, IPSC and 3 gun is to show up with guns, ammo and an open mind.. just introduce yourself, relax and have fun. Most places, if not all of them, will take you in with open arms and show you around and help you. Some places require a class, so make sure you call ahead of time to make sure.

go, learn and don't worry about your score or speed, just make sure you keep safety in mind at all times.

Welcome. I too was impatient and paid too much for a gun from The Firing Line. I should have bought it at Green Mountain Guns and just waited the 1 week it would have taken for them to order the gun I wanted.

Welcome to the Forums. How soon do you think you'll be getting yourself an AR?

Can you suggest good places to shoot. I wouldn't mind to join some gun club but as I noticed it is quite hard to do it. I tried silver bullet and it is OK, but I dont like paying 15$ for 1 hour, I would rather join some club.

Welcom to the board.......

Not sure on places to shoot up that way.

509.99 seems like the norm for a G17 NIB, I payed 399.99 for mine but it was used and I payed 499.99 for a G19 NIB but I also had a gift card for 100.00. So only 349.00 out the door.
