Welcome.
Someone with Saber Defense experience should stop in eventually. They're less common than most AR's.

Welcome to the board!
Welcome aboard, wish I could help ya out with the Sabre but I got nothing.
Welcome, I have a buddy who has one. I have shot with him twice. It ate everything fed to it and seemed to run just fine to me.

Welcome to the forum.
Manroy Defense Systems bought whatever was left of Sabre early in 2011. And the indication then was the company would be back, renamed Sabre Firearms, with some reports that the Manroy company would attempt to honor the Sabre Defense warranty. Firearms were to be assembled using existing Sabre Defense parts until the stock ran out, then all new firearms would be marked with the new name.
Of course, I found that on the internet, so it has to be true! Two (plus) years is a long time to iron this out, so I imagine Manroy has killed this plan by now.

Nothing wrong with Sabre's stuff - they went out of business for unrelated contracting chicanery that got most of their senior people indicted and/or imprisoned.

My Sabre is chambered for the 6.5 Grendel. Love it! Ammo scarce. But great quality!

They are less common but I think they were the best made rifle especially for the price point at the time. My final price out the door was just under $1200, I haven't seen anything that compares for less that $1500 now.

Welcome. Never shot a Sabre but they could be a collectors item since they are probably out of business since the BATF indicted the owner! They had military contracts so they might have quality guns.
I have a Sabre from back around 2009ish, it's still one of my favorite ARs. They had great reviews and were at a decent price point. Too bad about the company.
