Neighbors send a letter to the parents of specail needs child it includes this gem asking them to dispatch their child.

He is a hindrance to everyone and will always be that way!!!!! Who the hell is going to care for him?????? No employer will hire him, no normal girl is going to marry/love him and you are not going to live forever!! Personally, they should take whatever non retarded body parts he possesses and donate it to science. What the hell else good is he to anyone!!! You had a retarded kid, deal with it…properly!!!!! What right do you have to do this to hard working people!!!!!!!! I HATE people like you who believe, just because you have a special needs kid, you are entitled to special treatment!!! GOD!!!!!!

I have a noisy autistic kid living across the street. Lil' guy is cool as hell! A bit noisy sure, but his face lights up when we pull the street rods out. I also have an autistic cousin. This letter pisses me off. Autistic/special needs kids are so cool. You just have to get into their "zone" to understand. Stupid cunt should have had the balls to identify herself. Probably a "compassionate liberal", doss cunt.

That pisses me off. My 5 year old is special needs due to suffering head trauma when he was a baby. He is the most kind hearted little boy I know and if I got this letter from a neighbor I would dig a hole, insert neighbor, and walk away smiling.

So much for the myth that Canadians are uber-polite.

My mom had a kid living next to her that was probably in his late teens/early 20's that was the screaming sort and lived in a wheelchair. I could never get past thinking about the lifelong stress it must put on the parents - there was no way this child was ever going to live independently. A sad situation all around.

No dog has ever written a letter like that or felt that way about a person. Probably why I like dogs more than people.

The comments section puts this in a somewhat different light. While condemning the letter / writer of it, they did all ask the same thing.
Was the child left unattended (as the letter implied) or was there supervision?

In my opinion it doesn't matter what the parents did/didn't do. Nothing justifies the comments in that letter.

I"m positive that the 'mother' in the letter is one of the most pretentious bitches in the neighborhood. It takes a feeling of utter superiority to write something like that about a disabled child. She was probably poking out her breast implants and walking tall till the thing went viral and everyone said she is a cunt... I hope they find the author.. be it man or woman.. and treat her like a pinata hanging from a bridge.

Writer of that letter is.... I don't have words.

I have an autistic child in my band class. Dude has perfect pitch, always bright and sunny, and the class loves him. Yes, there are times that he throws a fit or is louder than needed... but you work with it, you don't tell his mom to kill him....

Wow, I knew humanity was doomed, just didn't think I'd see it to this level in my lifetime.

Treat others as you would like to be treated - is it such a hard concept?....

Letter and suggestions are off the charts unacceptable.
But I wonder what the back story is. I know someone who has a rental condo, and had an autistic child and family move in upstairs.
He now can not rent, or sell as there is round the clock blood curdling screams, and noise. He is now considering moving in himself to avoid going bankrupt on this property.
He is upset that nothing can be done. The family is ADA protected, he owned the property prior to them moving in, he could be facing financial ruin through no fault of his own.
I post this not to insult the autistic child at all, but wonder what the whole situation is. Maybe this is the only place the surrounding families can afford, and they have no options to move, soundproof, etc.

May the author of that letter die a slow, painful death and have their corpse ravaged by sodomizing necrophiliacs.

From my experience the world is messed up. I am disabled and require assistance from medical devices to walk, yet I can ride a motorcycle. People yell things at me. People tell me to die. People confront me and tell me I am abusing the system and a whole slew of other crap. People are mean to my face, I can only imagine what they say behind my back.

I hope the person who wrote that letter gets found out, public humiliated, and then has to move to the arctic because everyone hates her.

Given my religious beliefs ( LDS We have deep beliefs about how special these individuals truly are) I would like to put my sz 12 boot right up the authors backside. I believer there is a special place in Hell for people like that.

If that is the worst thing that woman has said to her about her child she will have it easy. It was rude and uncalled for, but for Christ's sake wad it up and ignore the bitch that wrote it. What is the need for people to wallow in the unpleasant when there is so much more ahead to deal with in life?

Free Speech.

Everyone, even the uncaring, unfeeling, Eugenicists who would waste time, ink, and paper spewing their filth deserve the rights provided in our Constitution (I know it was Canada). I would rather know the person's character by their words and actions than make an assumption and possibly misjudge them.

All of humanity can not be judged by the lack of civility in one member.

Great friend of mine has an autistic child.

If SHTF right now, they are welcome to my home indefinitely.

The letter seems to suggest that the the child is a nuisance and should be put down due to the perceived number of people offended by him/her. Well, now that the letter has gone viral, I wonder if the author would still like to use the number of people offended as evidence of removal from the neighborhood.

And I would have to agree to liking dogs more.

Maybe it wasn't written by a neighbor.... Could have be a stunt to get national attention and donations by the family with the autistic kid.

Thats what is said in my first post. I am so jaded now, I cant believe anyone it seems. We see these stories on the news almost daily. Some skank says her kid has cancer and collects donations. The last one even convinced the kid he was dying. What kind of POS does that?

Hence my thread title. This whole thing begs the question, "who are we as a people"? We're either a people who tell the world our kid has cancer for attention or a society that aborts its "troubles" away and is one step away from calling for the dispatching of those who bother, annoy, or are a burden on the collective.

FIFY. It's moral entitlement. We're coming to the logical end of the choices we've made for quite some time.
