They used a V22 Osprey - much more expensive and more expensive to run than a "mere" chopper.

There have been multiple trips, using various aircraft, including a pair of V22, and I've never seen any evidence that any of the flights were just for the dog; there have also been aides and staffers on the dog flights.

I wouldn't be suprised if he tries to pull an FDR so he can remain for an extra term. That is probably part of why he has a helping hand in stiring up all kinds of global chaos and mayhem.
