Ignore the biased reporting.

"Let the police take care of it!" Because being proactive instead of reactive is bad, mmkay?

Its simple, the anti gun people in his neighborhood just need to put little signs that say "No thank you, you evil Troglodite NRA member, don't watch our home" and he would know exactly which homes to allow to be ransacked and its occupants raped/murdered.

I kinda see that as a problem waiting to happen. No disrespect intended, but the kid didn't strike me as completely together mentally. Shouldn't he be at work?
At the risk of sounding sarcastic and jaded, the only thing coming to mind is a quote from The Wire "There you go again, giving a fuck when it ain't your turn."

Just because the kid looks like a dork, doesn't make him mental. As 19 year old I'm sure he could work, or maybe he's just enjoying his summer... for all we know he may be a college student, and have no need to work.

Either way, the lady they interviewed seemed to be the only one complaining. I guarantee if the news people could've found someone else to put on TV talking about how scary the rifle was they would have.

He may not be a dork, he could just be really nervous in front of national TV reporters and cameras.

Looks like he is doing a good job. She should thank him for keeping the value of her home up...assuming she is paying for it or cares.

The video title is meh. Nothing suggests that him walking around has lead to a decrease in crime.

Maybe she should get off her dead ass and help pick up trash instead of pissing and moaning.

It looks like a sporterized Ishapore 2A1. I've never seen a mag that long for the Ishapor but otherwise it's the correct shape and feed lips.
Here is a vidcap from th video.

That is not an AR15/M16 mag.

Thanks for posting the video ChunkyMonkey..

Rifle is British and most likely Cal. .303 unless it has been modified. IMHO

Good for him.

"He's from a military family, hates garbage, Loves his neighborhood & isn't looking for a fight."

I wish our neighborhood had more like this even though it seems to be a pretty high percentage already.

"Police say he's not breaking any laws.'

There you go scared lady. He's doing nothing wrong and you're wrong for teaching your kids to fear him and his WWII relic rifle that is clearly not even loaded. And they call us gun owners paranoid. lol

Don't let this logic get in the way since it doesn't seem to affect organized groups like the TSA. After all, his 'seeing of peeping toms and scaring them off' as mentioned in the video is more than the TSA has done to secure our nation on less of a budget. I would also say that seeing someone 'patrolling' the streets with a rifle and some sort of military/tactical vest is a deterrent for crime. Most criminals are looking for easy targets. This doesn't indicate an easy target.

I have to wonder how quickly he can get a magazine into that old Enfield and get a round chambered. My Enfields would rather have their magazines left in place, thank you. Not the easiest mags to get in. Feller needs an M1 carbine.
