Anybody have experience with this product? First hand experience preferred. It seems equivalent to the RCBS Charge Master but is $100 less. Please let me know what you think.

There's a reason it's $100 less, I have one, and had sold my old Lymann 1200, I wish I had my Lymann back. It's been flakey as hell, and most times I'm lucky to get through 10 rounds without having to recalibrate it. most times it just locks up and won't do anything without pulling the plug on it to reset it.

Honestly I'm planning on picking up the new version of the Lymann.

Now I am looking at the new Lyman... It seems to fit the bill, anybody have advice on the Gen6? It seems to be smaller and considerably cheaper than their Gen5 version and quite a bit cheaper than the RCBS.

From the reviews I read the RCBS is easier to empty and clean, so I got the RCBS. It was worth every penny.

DVOR has the Gen 6 for $190, the Gen 5 for $229 and the RCBS for $305 right now. I can give you an invite if you're not a member (doesn't cost anything for membership) and I think you get a $5 credit when you sign up. This is kinda like a Steep and Cheap type site for shooting and misc outdoor gear that requires "membership" which as I said doesn't cost anything. They also give you a $10 credit on your birthday, and things like that. Pretty good deal though either way.

Thanks XC for the offer! And thanks for the advice. [Beer]

I just picked up the Lyman Gen6 from Cabela's today. I used a $100 gift certificate so I am not out of pocket too much. I certainly hope it works well.

Please post up a review of it when you get a chance to play with it a bit and see how it works.
