Aimpoint - Lead Times??

Ordered an Aimpoint T-1 las week from Larue, and received a message saying that they're working with a 2-5 week lead time due to the T-1s being out of stock. Does anyone know why the long backup? My understanding was that things were returning to normal... Oh well!
