We haven't had him for very long, but he became a part of the family pretty quick. He got out of the yard Friday morning and hasn't been seen since. Like an idiot I procrastinated getting him a new collar and dog tags. Been to Foothills animal shelter, put ads on craigslist, and thinking of doing some fliers for the hood.

Here is Nicko

This sucks. Nicko is a great little dog. Here's another pic, from when he visited Harry:

I'll be happy to help plaster the hood with LOST DOG signs.

That sucks, Sparky. Best wishes for a speedy return home for Nicko.

Definitely put up some fliers and keep checking the shelters.

Put up flyers in the neighborhood. It's possible someone within a block or two took in the "lost" dog.

Hope you find him or some good person gets him home!!!

But this comes to mind! Just for some comic relief....

I'll keep a look out for him running around the area.

Some neighborhooods have websites, so be sure to check online and see if you can't post something there.

Is he microchipped?

Call every vet clinic in a 20-mile radius, too. Sometimes people find a dog and bring him to the nearest vet clinic to their destination.

Also unfortunately you have to check Craigslist in all the surrounding areas. A common scam is to steal pets in Denver and sell them down in COS or Pueblo for example.

Anybody good at making fliers? I sure miss the little guy.

Local shelter usually knows of any lost/found search networks. Mostly made up of local fosterers and shelter volunteers.
