Just curious to see what people have planned for the grill/smoker/campfire for the holiday. Doing mine on Monday, 2 boston butts and 2 racks of st louis cut spare ribs are going into the smoker with some apple wood chips.

Cleaning brass, burning goat heads, trying to play my guitar with a messed up arm, and if the wif is in the mood....you know.

Gonna grill some steaks for lunches this week.

Got season 3 of Walking Dead...might watch the whole season commercial free tomorrow or Monday.


....and if I can find a matching rubber nose for the gothic clown suit I picked up at Good Will, galavant around downtown Brighton, at a busy intersection, holding a sign that says LIBS CAN KISS MY PASTY WHITE ASS.

I think that's about it.

Went to a KC Clam bake yesterday. Friend did sausage, corn, onions, potatoes & carrots cooked in an old Milk Can, lined with soaked corn husk, over coals. Shit was absolutely fantastic. Looks like one more thing i need to try. Of course another friends wife made some of her notorious chili verde. She consistently cooks up a pot o chili that is consistently amazing. Granted you can only eat it out of ceramic bowls, it will burn through anything else.
