View Full Version : Good deal?
Been looking for a complete upper, flat top, free floater and ran across this at runnerrunnerguns...
https://www.runnerrunnerguns.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=UPPER%2DCOMPLETE%2D TROY%2DALPHA%2DBCG
Is there a better deal in the metro area? Talking with a salesman at the site he stated that the BCGs are full auto, mpi tested , staked...would not name manufacturer ... but said they are used by several good quality manufacturers. He also said MOST of their uppers are Stag uppers.
Thanks in advance ..

If they won't tell you the manufacturer of the components I would be wondering why not.
I'd buy from this place before I'd buy that. And I hate this place.

Or, if its all about the budget and nothing else, I'd probably go with DSA.

Got pretty much the same feedback from a coworker...still on the fence since this upper is exactly what I'm looking for, the guy i talked to assured me the bcg and barrel were good quality units. But if u don't wanna tell me what im getting I'm hard pressed to click BUY on the website .

Did you honestly believe he would tell you otherwise? Not many resellers or manufacturers are willing to admit their product is inferior.

This is what people in police work refer to as a clue. I'm sure there are deals out there to be had however this one is suspect. Buy once, cry once.

My guess would be that they wont tell you manufacturer because they use many suppliers, whoever is cheaper at the time and they have no idea what you will be getting.

I prefer to buy something like this locally. You can see what you are getting. I would try 5280 armory in arvada and see what Jensens in loveland have.

A builder who is proud of their builds would happily discuss what components they use to a prospective customer.

+1 to what BP said. If they wont tell you what parts they are using it is probly because they are buying the cheapist shit they can find.
